Abstract

This article discusses the novel Devania Annesya Muara Rasa, which describes the emotional journey and complex social conflicts that occur in everyday life. The social aspects found in the book Devania Annesya Muara Rasa are the subject of descriptive qualitative analysis. The sociological analysis of Devania Annesya Muara Rasa's novel was written with the aim of increasing our understanding of social life and understanding the social aspects depicted in the novel.  Important themes such as social class differences, intergenerational conflicts, and the dynamics of relationships between individuals appear in the sociological analysis of this novel. Interactions between characters are affected by social class differences, which are shown in their views and the way they treat each other. The conflict between social classes also causes tension, which impacts the development of the characters throughout the story. Intergenerational conflict is also a major theme of the novel. The source of conflict that affects family dynamics and personal relationships is the difference in values, perspectives and expectations between the older and younger generations. In addition, this analysis emphasizes the importance of relationships between individuals in the formation of social networks and identity. Character interaction shows how social experiences and interactions shape individual perspectives and actions. Therefore, the sociological analysis of Muara Rasa shows how complex social structures, intergenerational conflicts, and how important relationships between individuals are in shaping the dynamics of society. The novel not only tells the story of an individual, but also provides deep thoughts on the social behavior of society.
